With
a noble vision of catering medium voltage switchgear
and transformer industry in India with alternative
of epoxy molded components, our flagship company M/s
Baroda Bushings & insulators
(BBI)
was launched in 1972, After initial struggle the company
went from strength to strength under dynamic and visionary
leadership of founding father Mr. D. R. Patel, who
is a technocrat himself having background of research
work in epoxy molding technology for ten years.
With
over whelming success of the flagship, an idea of diversification
and expertise was Visualized and as a result M/s.
Electrical Controls & systems
(ECS)
came into existence in 1984 for the manufacture of Current
and potential transformers. Need arose for the job expertise
and as a result M/s. Baroda Moulds and Dies (BMD) came
into existence in 1990 to take care of heavy epoxy castings
required for bus ducts, on load tap changers and Switchgears.
Thus,
a small plantation gradually grown in to a giant tree
popularly known as the “EPOXY HOUSE”.
The
adventurous pilgrimage did not stop until M/s
Kaizen Switchgear Products (KSP,
A 100% Export Oriented Unit) came in
to existence in 1997 inspired by overwhelming success
of M/s Electrical Controls & Systems in exploration
of export market for group's products. Keeping pace
with the time, two group companies KSP and ECS obtained
ISO certification in 1999 from RWTUV Germany which is
recently reaudited and upgraded to ISO 9001:2000.
